Westwood Park

Westwood Park was built in the late 70’s and was renovated in 2006 through various funding sources. Westwood Park is a wooded site with nature trails, two lighted ballfields, playground equipment, fitness stations, disc golf (9 holes), mountain bike trails, community fishing pond, shelter, restroom facilities and paved parking. Shelter reservations are available by calling the Mount Airy Parks and Recreation Department at 336-786-8313.

Directions: 1250 Galax Trail, Mount Airy, NC 27030

From Hwy 52 N.: Turn left on Westlake Drive, turn left on Galax Trail, Westwood Park is on the left.

From Hwy 77 N.: Turn right on Exit 100 (Mount Airy- Hwy 89E), turn left on Franklin Rd., turn right on Westlake Drive, turn right on Galax Trail, park entrance is on the left.
